More Summer Adventures

Here are a bunch more photos that we have been meaning to upload.

Nathan enjoys the Shelburne Museum near Burlington -- first on the top deck of the large steamship and then sizing up the stuffed bear.

Jack and Jill came tumbling after Nathan at the enchanted forest.
Something very exciting must have been happening just on the other side of the door.
High Desert Museum exploration.
Strawberry Picking with Asher -- not sure if we paid enough for our flat considering Nathan ate his weight in berries while helping.
Great times at Shelburne Farms. Who needs animals when there are tractors?
Running around retired planes is way more fun than sitting on Mom's lap when flying.
This is Nathan's "sign" for airplane. It can also mean hat, helmet, helicopter, hair, no hair, and occasionally umbrella, but this day we are pretty certain he was talking about airplanes.
Long walk to a cold lake to throw rocks. life is pretty great in the summer.
Enjoying a sunny afternoon along Otter Creek.
Nathan has never met a goat (or a Picasso) that he doesn't like.
Nathan requests that you "do not disturb" him when he's snacking.
No need to pack toys when a toddler figures out how to turn on (and occasionally off) the bath water. High tea for Mom's Birthday, is there a better way to spend the afternoon?
Riding the Bus Bus is a great way to get around town.

Summer Fun!

We have many more photos to add, but the blogger in Nathan's life is a bit disorganized.   Here is a preview of his recent adventures.

It is a little hard to capture all three cousins (or any of the cousins) looking at the camera at the same time.
Scouting animals at the zoo.
Not sure who is in charge at this moment.

First trip in the burley.  Farmers' Market anyone?

Road Trip!

We had a great long weekend in Toronto.
First pit stop: Fort Covington, NY Rainbow Park. The hardest part of this day was convincing Nathan to get back in our car.

A little Canadian History to start day two, Fort Henry Ontario.

Getting out the wiggles before Isaac and Hannah's wedding. What could be better than fossils at the Royal Ontario Museum?
Long lunch break on the return trip, not sure if the gulls or the boats are the bigger draw at Kingston Harbor.
The real key to a happy traveller? Juice Box.

April Highlights

Our digital camera is on the fritz but we were lucky enough to have some help taking pictures this month. April was a great month to be a 13-month old.
Central Park Zoo outing with Liam! (Yes that is a giant life size spider web built for crawling and jumping)

Lambing at Alex's farm under the watchful eye of Olive the basset hound.

A visit to the college library to see Grandpa at work.
